Deliberately small. Entirely devoted.
Valoré Studios was founded on an unfashionable belief: that a wedding photograph should feel like the day rather than describe it. The scent of fynbos in the wind, the weight of a grandmother's hand, the particular quiet just before the doors open — these are not details. They are the day itself.
We stay small on purpose. A limited number of commissions each year means every wedding receives the same unhurried care — the same slow edit, the same attention to light, the same insistence on honesty over performance.
What we believe
Emotion before arrangement
A slightly imperfect frame of a true moment outlives a perfect frame of a staged one. We choose the true moment, every time.
Light before everything
We plan whole days around twenty minutes of it. Light is the difference between a record of a wedding and a memory of one.
Legacy before trend
No presets of the season, no editing fashions. We make work calibrated to look right in thirty years, because that is when it matters most.

How we work
Present at everything. Noticed at nothing.
You will find us at the edges of your day — kneeling in the grass for the light, waiting by the doors before the processional, standing far back with a long lens while your father struggles through his toast. We dress like guests, we speak softly, and we never, ever ask the room to stop.
